  • Call for Entries: February 6, 2026 – March 15, 2026
  • DEADLINE: March 15, 2026
  • Judging: March 20, 2026 – April 12, 2026
  • Awards Ceremony: May 14, 2026

Entry Fees

  • Early Bird: $125 from February 6, 2026 to February 20, 2026
  • Regular: $175 from February 21, 2026 to DEADLINE
  • Student: Free

Important Update for this year’s Design Excellence Awards Submission Process

Please note: You must complete payment for your entries in the cart before you can begin the submission process. This differs from previous years when payment was completed at the end of your entry submission. Category purchases can be change upon request.

HOW TO ENTER

  1. Register using the top menu bar or the top-right button.

  2. Log in if you already have a CPJAM account. If not, create one.

  3. Purchase entry categories (you may enter as many categories as you like).

    • You can return to the Register page at any time to purchase additional entries.

    • If you need to change a purchased category entry, please contact the Competition Administrator or CPJAM Support for assistance.

  4. Complete the entry form from the Entries tab in the top menu bar.

  5. Review your submission for accuracy and completeness.

  6. Submit your entry.


INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR EACH PROJECT SUBMISSION

(See Full Rules [HERE])

  • Lead Designer’s ASID Membership Number and Appellation
    (ASID, ASID Allied, ASID Associate, etc. — refer [HERE] for appellations and designations)

  • Contributing ASID design team members and appellations

  • Contributing non-ASID design team members

  • Design Statement

  • Project square footage, if applicable to the category

  • Project completion date

  • If re-submitting a project: previous submission date

  • Project imagery requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 project photographs (PNG or JPG)

    • Minimum of 1 floor plan (PDF)

    • Images must be high resolution and suitable for digital and print presentation

    • File size per image: 2 MB minimum (4 MB preferred); 10 MB maximum
