Universal Design for Dignity

Universal Design is the practice of designing products, environments, services, and systems, so they can be used by as many people as possible- regardless of age, ability, language, or background- without requiring special adaptation. Join us to see how some of the best, most innovative designers bring this to life, including a tour of the newly re-designed Marcus Center for Advanced Rehabilitation, at Shepherd Center designed by ASID Firm RJTR. The tour will be followed by a lively panel discussion with many leading practioners in this discipline. The case study of "Shepherd Accessible" spaces will demonstrate how innovative design solutions can provide dignity to all.
